i recently bought a Squire Strat (used, coming in the mail next week) and i have a question about the serial number. the guitar says 'Made in China' and the serial # is NC665269, which according to your 'Axe Dater' means its a Bullet series guitar. but this one has 22 frets (Bullets have 21, afaik) and a vintage trem (Bullets are hard tail, afaik). it's also black, has one-ply white pickguard, and small headstock - so it seems more in line with the SE100 series, though i hear those are supposed to have a CAE in the serial number.
